Follow me on my journey to discover why I bought such an expensive camera.

This is a digital from my day in Monterey. Click the photo for a larger version of this photo or click http://www.flickr.com/photos/solisphotography to see them all.
I'm going back to some old photos while playing with my new monitor. I'm having some trouble with my Huey calibrating it, but I'm getting an upgrade to the Pro model soon.
This is a shot I would have taken for my class for the repetition and line assignment, but I didn't have my film camera with me, just my digital. I figured ... "Why not take it anyway?"
Just in case you were wondering, I still manage to shoot a color photo every now and again.
This is Graham of the band Sad Lisa. Graham is the music writer for the Santa Cruz Sentinel (he sits next to me) and a pretty darned good guitarist as well. This was the first time I heard him play live and I was quite surprised.
Sad Lisa was playing Henfling's Tavern as part of a battle of the bands. Not sure if they are moving on to the next level yet, but they should.
Way to go guys.
