These boots are in a side room at the Plaza Stables in San Juan Bautista. There is ZERO photoshop work done to this.

All post-production was done in Adobe Camera Raw.

The Gavilan Hills and the San Andreas Fault line (it's just beyond the green field where all the brush is).

The thing that stood out to me when I took this was all of the horizontal lines the landscape created. The stormy sky was icing on the cake.

I went to San Juan Bautista this weekend because Julie was running the annual 10-mile race there. So, as usual, while she was running, I walked around and grabbed some shots. This is the bell tower at Old Mission San Juan Bautista.

A new photo ... Hooray!

I spent the better part of today looking through Flickr photos, so when I was done with work, I grabbed my gear and went to West Cliff Dr. here in Santa Cruz. I had wanted to get there earlier, but I just couldn't get out of work, so this is much darker than what I had in my mind.

Sorry about the lack of posts

I know I haven't posted any new photos in quite a while. Sorry about that. I have a few ideas rattling around in my head, but I think I'm saving them for my photography class, which begins in February. I'm not sure if I'll post any of the pictures from the class here since they will all be black and white film. Maybe at the end of the semester, I'll have all of my negatives scanned onto a CD and then posted here.

In other news, I will soon be a published photographer. Look for five of my photos in the next Santa Cruz Magazine, which will be available in Santa Cruz Feb. 1.
