At the Rodeo

Some photos from my day at the California Rodeo Salinas. I was able to talk my way into the chutes where the riders get ready and was back there for about an hour and a half before the PR woman asked if I had all the photos I needed. Truth be told, the best way to watch a rodeo is from the chutes.

I was trying to get some candid portraits as opposed to action shots, but once the action started, it's hard not to point your camera at it. I', sure I'll get even better shots next time.
