Thanks to my photos that were published in the Spring 2007 edition of Santa Cruz Magazine, I've actually sold some prints. Not only that, but the editor had me shoot her column sig to run alongside her "From Our Editor" column.

I've been toying with another redesign, or more accurately, a re-organizing. I'm thinking of moving this blog to the home page so you don't have to make an extra click to see my newest photos. If anyone actually reads this blog, let me know what you think.

Sammy hucks a disc with more thought to how it looks than to its accuracy. Though I do think this one wasn't too bad.

PHOTOSHOP: Unsharp mask in LAB mode. Selective color to deepen blacks. Black and White layer set to yellow filter and blended in luminosity (67%). Dodge and burn layer for final touches.

The day before my friend's wedding, a few of us went out to a course in Salt Lake City and played disc golf. I played of course, but my photos are much better than my own game was. This is Erik, our resident pro.

Julie and I attended the Home Brew Festival on the Westside. When we were done drinking (mmmmmmm, beer), we got some coffee at Kelly's Bakery and some of the pastries there looked great. I took this shot "from the hip," meaning I didn't look through the viewfinder to frame it. These seem like such summer-y pastries too me.
